Costume design: Dalí

For this Halloween season, I was inspired by Salvador Dalí's painting Three young surrealist women holding in their arms the skins of an orchestra and decided to create one of the women's costumes on a college student budget. Below are images of the original painting as well as shots of the costume I designed and wore. For the head portion, I used a pink ski mask to which I attached the flowers onto. Maybe I should re-use this in a future production project...?

I first saw the painting in person at the Dalí' museum in St. Petersburg, Florida this summer. The museum's FB page ended up commenting on my photo of the costume!
