Projection Designer: Amelia Merriman

Oboist Amela Merriman approached me to design projections for a set on her recital. The set was composed by Jenni Brandon. The piece is a collection of seven songs called "Love Songs for Soprano and Oboe" and tells the story of a Native American woman as she raises her child - more info at https://jennibrandon.com

The piece is originally meant for a soprano and oboist. Due to covid restrictions - and also Amelia's skill as both a vocalist and player - we were able to project a stylized version of her playing oboe, with the audio, so she could sing and duet with herself.
