Composition inspired by Primo Levi’s “Se questo e` un uomo/If This is a Man”.
Orchestration/Instrumentation:
Violin & orchestra of 3 flutes (all doubling piccolo), 2 oboes, English horn, 2 clarinets, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, tuba, percussion, harp and strings in addition to the solo violin.
